My journey began with a single tick bite.
What followed was 2 1/2 years of unanswered questions as I struggled with the symptoms of Lyme Disease without a clear diagnosis. During that time. I also faced overwhelming anxiety and deep depression. It was the most difficult and harrowing season of my life.
When I speak, I share honestly about that experience..including the altered and confusing mental state I endured when Lyme Disease affected my brain. It's not easy to talk about, but it's real, and it's important.
After 38 years as a hairdresser, I was forced into early retirement due to my illness. But what felt like an ending became a calling. Today, I devote my life to speaking and writing about my journey, bringing hope, awareness, and encouragement to others walking through difficult seasons of their own.
My prayer is that my story brings glory to God and encouragement to those who hear it. You are not alone.
